Who May She Be?

Every single morning
I saw her from my window
Staring blanky into space

An attractive young woman
Immaculately dressed
In white with long tresses

I had often toyed with
The idea of walking up
And speaking to her

But lacked the courage
She seemed so distant
Almost angelic & fragile

Strangely enough,
She vanished at sunrise
To return the next day

Many theories existed
For some she was real
For others she was a spirit

A young lady who had been
Murdered in the area was
Returning to haunt the killers
