I made a phone call to Amy Ann
Who seemed to be in great pain.

I wanted to greet her on the event
Of getting her verse book in print

She calls herself a Lamb of God,
Was bereaved by the death of dog.

Dog replacing god, words reversed
Saving her life, her dog had died

That is what she told me twice
What she felt on her dog’s demise.
