Cannot say why did it smear on my face, you're engaged and yet you noticed;
But the smile was natural and our meet maiden.
I could see your eyes falling everywhere in the room; knowingly, not me;
Except for when we greeted initially.
Yet again while restoring my sense, I’d say why, you gave me a move forward; And then you keep them not.

Whatever you said, whatever your queries,  you hurled at me;
That marked the making of my sub-conscious.
From then it has been you in my thoughts everyday, to say the least.
It wasn't a mirage, I think for the meet exist, still;
Cannot say what can this be known as; and how?
For I, do not believe in the matters of first sight.

Oh! It occured to me in a dream - you're there forever.
Sometimes when jaded eyes close - you speak.
The other night, you’d promised me dear.
You will “come and see.”
