My baby boy my bundle of joy
Smiley, cuddly, ever so vibrant for life
Spring walked his pre-nursery days ever so pretty
Sailed through his school days
Prompt, obedient, studious and humble
In contemporary times of corrupt thought word and deed
He and his friend fell prey to greedy cruel hands
Ransom was their call deep into the night they went missing
Confused to react his father and I
Dumb struck and slow to act
We found them bleeding their last breath
My baby boy my bundle of joy
Smiley, cuddly, ever so vibrant for life
Numbed with sorrow and pain
Nothing ever will bring a smile to lighten our path
Till our souls meet again
