Dreamers only venture
Where they wish to go
They spend years in preparation
To make it so
They study and strive their whole life through
To make "sky's the limit"
A dream come true
They wander
Into space
Take in the universe
With challenges to conquor
Fear holds no place in this
They strive to do the best they can
Some were lost in tragedy's time
They didn't think of hazards
That was there
No one can say
They did not dare
Saw earth as moonlight
The blue orb seen in space
It's fragile and beautiful
Nothing can take her place
Astronauts seek new horizons
Mankind's destiny
It's the end of an era
Of shuttles and comaraderie
Gun-ho pilots
Broke the sound barrier
Tell hair raising tales
Of their dare devil experiences
Dream on ... brave men
You've done well
With hearts that true
Make our hearts swell
Pride of NASA
Men who fly free
This is the age of discovery.
