Different Shades

Divine Painter paints
varied strokes of Man-
different physical forms,
characteristics and
colours of grey, yellow, brown or other.
Some have vices, otherwise
they are wedded to devices.

With hands on remote
fast forward events in life,
mask on face, truth none can perceive
he does deceive....
gets lady to dance to his tune,
to his idiosyncracy becomes immune
Is it an act of tolerance?

Meek and submissive
loves to play second fiddle,
he projects his woman to the forefront
with his life is content,
without a cause to repent.
Throughout, there is brightness
in his home, without a doubt.

The aggressive one
perpetually quarelling
to gain upper hand.
Dissatisfied, disgruntled,
forever muddled,
his life in a tangle
attempts hard to free himself from mangle.

Cheery, sprightly,
colourful as the rainbow,
spreads mirth around
in contrast to the still
exterior-runs deep!
Unfathomable, unpredictable
as an underwater volcano.

The Divine Painter hasn't
forgotten different faces of woman-
some wield power, others are givers.
Several are the unmoved and the adamant,
others docile and submissive
who wish for a life passive and pensive,
the ambitious ones, forever devising strategies.

Shades surrrounded by diversity
varied hues of human nature-bright as sunshine,
waxing-waning, moon like
causing sudden tempest or calm
scheming, unpredictable as monsoon,
colourful akin to autumn leaves,
stony cold as winter morning.

A colourful canvas this divine spectacle,
One never ceases to wonder at this miracle.
