A lost Heart

Her heart just floated around
Like a lost feather not missed,
By the careless bird in flight.
It had no destination in mind
It just depended on the wind,
Following the direction in which
It chose to blow be it east or west.

A huge predatory bird spotted
The lost heart flitting about,
Rather aimlessly and decided
To grip it firmly with its talons.
The little heart was surprised
Wondering why anyone would
Be interested in trying to trap it

Grateful for a little attention
Her lost heart did not resist....
