World Rakhi Day

Rakhi1.jpg
A bond to tie all with love
And to tighten the promise of protection and trust
Tested in heaven and earth.
Rakhi, as a talisman with divine power
Saved gods from demons,
Graced the wrist of god of death,
Kept the invaders away from war,
Inspired sisters and brothers
Down the ages to pray for each other.
In india
All above the sky and down the earth
Cherished this full moon of relation every year
A Day of celebration
With sweets and cakes,
Offers and offerings
Hopes and promises
Let my India rise to write this signature of love
On all countries
Dedicate the Day to the world.
