Fireflies

I saw those fireflies glowing in the dark
Amidst the green carpets of the forest
Etched at a distance carved by humans
They were flickering gently yet so continuously
As if trying to reveal the secrets of their world to us
Thru' little winks meant for each one of us
These little beings were a visual delight to me
Coz they were forming a tapestry around the trees
By gently glowing in a huge corona there
Casting off the darkness with their weave of magic
Making my heart throb with their music
Creating harmony in the darkness in their own way
It was exclusive only to them, privileged to them
They have a sweet life of their own
They know to make the best of it
Weaving magic that only they can weave
That time cant erase at all.
