Can I ever question the sun,
'Why does he rise so early
and pull out the kids from the beds
or set before it is dark
to distract the butterflies
from romancing with the flowers?'
Can I ever ask the river,
'Why does it get dry in summer
when everybody wishes for a dip
and to quench their thirst
the animals want a few sips?'
Can I ever ask,
'Why do your eyes look so pretty
and the smiles, so sweet,
for ever on a hunt at my heart to shoot
and all my priceless treasures to loot?'
