  Awake...to the brilliant morning
born from a season
of caresses shaping
a garden
of second flowering.

Before the window of heaven opened
we entered in
with arms wearing moonlight
recalling the darkness
of deep mountain passes
sustaining forest.

Entrenched,
the cowling of the day
falls away
revealing a velvet promise
in multitude.

Floating in an indelible fragrance
lulled by half asleep kisses
I see your eyes of gentle strength
convoke whispers
in rising radiance,
the secrets of the universe.
