Your elongated eyes, my lord
Make a stir in heart’s cord
I see a different world there
Unlike we mortals share
A world where love resides
Hope of sun never hides
I gaze at your peerless eyes
With joy, my heart cries
I shift in world of fancy
Feeling one in royal regency
Affirming my faith in love
I return to my alcove
Dreamy eyes change the view
I adorn my world with bright hue
Alas! I fail to realize the fact
I can’t keep my world intact
It is not your land divine
Where love resides in holy shrine
We make love and suffer alone
Pain remains, pleasure gone
I look at you for reply
But your smiles deny
Any answer or explanation
Because love has no destination
It is a journey of two souls
Yearning to feel the whole
You stand in serene poise
Away from my heart’s noise
I complain and urge for solution
But, you are beyond such resolution
