Copy Cat

My poems, I thought,
are original, new and fresh,
from any neither I borrowed
nor bought; images and ideas
are my own...
...
But,
my pride was vain and soon faded
to my surprise when I discovered
each and every line of the poem
is a mere replica of what is boldly etched
in her heart; a copy cat at best I am
everything as mine to claim.
