In an emergency meeting
the Creator asked the gods,
'Away from man's reach suggest a place
where to hide happiness?'
'Simple,' said one in the audience,
'deep inside the earth.'
'That will be a blunder,
for man can dig up to discover.'
'How about in deep ocean?'
'Not a safe place either,' felt the Creator.
'At the top of the highest mountain?'
'Man can scale it one day or other.'
'Well,' said the Creator,
'Why not we place it within him!
Beset with pride will man ever look for
happiness lowering his chin?'
True to the Creator's presumption,
man has scaled the Everest, mapped the ocean floor
and updated earth's internal structure
but hardly has any time to hear the inner whisper!
