Lamps in mandirs, homes welcome
Comforting days shorten slowly
Nightlong dreams stretch quietly.

Watching soaps best way
Reading headlines relaxing
Languid moments enrich life
Doing nothing too, a way of celebration.

F1 racing, ODIs, twenty-twentys,
A film for a change,
Melodies of the bygone eras
Sooth frayed tempers, lull the mind.

Brightening breakfast, spicy snack at times,
Lunches lure, suppers satisfy.
Agenda-less, goal-free life
Perhaps, best way to re-charge!
