If There Be...

If clouds gather overhead,
hopes too gather for drops of water
sooner or later to rain

If trees take roots and grow,
Birds shall for sure perch,
build nests and chirp at dawn

There shall be foliage, buds,
flowers and fruits to ripen
to attract the kids to climb up!

If there be a small lake,
lotus shall blossom at daybreak
and bumble bee shall die for love's sake

If a smile anchors on your lips,
may be small and shy,
shalln't I harbour hopes for a packet of flowers for me!
