A Close View

Between dawn and dusk
the day enacts a comely play,
Between two shores
Delightfully dances a lovely bay

Between winter and summer
at play is a sprightly spring,
Between silence and shyness
I can hear her sweetly sing

In the apples of her eyes
I see glimpses of the universe,
unparallel is the beauty of love –
the heart that treasures it, has no doors
