Two States

Two states are separating us
And yet I am eternally tied to you
Tied by the strength of my love,
By the depth of my feelings,
By the rays of my hopes,
By the eyes of my dreams,
By the power of my soul,
By the intensity of my faith!
Two states can’t really separate us
As you are always tied to me too,
By the blessings of the Lord,
By the crossroads of fate,
By the boulevards of attachment,
By the shadows of time,
By the beads of proximity,
By the reflections of life!
