I am Rajini, an undergraduate in Commerce. I am an avid reader of books, English and Tamil. I worked earlier as a Team leader at HCL (BPO) for five years. Then joined Adyar Times, a neighbourhood newspaper. I am a senior edit coordinator. Our paper is a Sunday edition, a free paper, with a circulation of 43,000 copies in Adyar, ECR and OMR in Chennai.
I write feature articles on institutions, book reviews and events in the neighbourhood. I have conducted more than hundred interviews in a span of ten years with scientists, educators, politicians, artists, bureaucrats, environmentalists and inspiring women.
Writing has been a passion all along, but the nerve to try poetry is very recent, with encouragement from a good friend, who is a part of Boloji community. I would also like to be a part of this Forum. |
