If My Wishes...

If my wishes were a spaceship,
I shall sail you high up
to weigh your beauty
in zero-gravity

If my wishes were roses
growing in the sky,
I shall shower them in torrents
on each nook and corner of the earth

If my wishes were an ocean of smiles,
I shall flood the earth
to drown all grief and sobs
and cheer each heart

If my wishes were a diamond mine,
I shall put a shining ring
on each nose
cherubic looks on every face to bring

First, let me congratulate you on this beautiful outpouring of sweet emotions. I would add,

He gave birds the wings
They prefer to breed on earth;
He gave roses the color and fragrance
But the lovers pluck and peel;
He smiles in bountiful plenty
But we flood life with tears;
The diamond is happy in mines
But it is cut and chiseled;
Make Him the nose ring
The smiles will fling.
