After Nine Months

For nine months,
I kept yearning;
After nine months,
You're returning.

I welcome you back,
With a smile on my face;
I stand in your track,
Waiting for your embrace.

Now you are here,
I'll head for a beach,
Savor the sea air,
And reach for a peach.

I'll make the most
Of your short stay;
I'll drink a toast,
And party every day.

I'll have lots of fun,
And celebrate big time;
You are A-1:
Summer, you're sublime.
