You Too are Special

To be in love
And be loved back
Is what a heart desires...
It is indeed blissful
To love someone in life
And if the one
Also loves you in return
Together you attain
The perfect beauty
And wander in perfect bliss -
What people call...
The synergy of love!

On a flip side
It's excruciating misery
To lose someone forever,
You love in life
But far more excruciating is...
Losing yourself
Through a complete surrender
In the process of loving
Someone too much
Often forgetting
Or ignoring the fact
That you too were
A special being
Or soul after all.
