Racing against Time

We are tired
racing against time,
the sovereign monarch
of earthly existence
making us fools
every day every hour

Taking away
bodily strength and power
throwing us
into an abyss of despair

I wish if I could stop
the eternal wheels of time
nobody would arrest me
for my honest crime.
