If all was lucid
If god was not a mystery
If life lacked meaning
If life was pure reasoning
If night was empty of dreams
If sky had no birds
If snowflakes held no wonder
If rainbows were grey
If love was a chemical reply
If so, wouldn´t it be hell?

Lovely composition. However, the two lines have become to weak to your very strong poem. Perhaps you can conclude:

If love was a chemical reaction,
If so, wouldn't life be a mere hallucination?

However, I was inspired to write a poem on similar line, 'If my wishes...'. Please have a look at it. Thank you, Hansen.
