Resilience

Among so many reasons
Why I feel so attached
Why I feel so grateful
to you always...

Your friendship was a strength
But it is your loss...
That made life so resilient
To overcome a crisis or situation
Be it any shock or injury
Be it any damage or depression
Whether physical or mental
Nothing can be overpowering
Nothing can be devastating
More than what
Already your loss was.

Like an old saying -
A poison cures poison, and
When life ceases
New life always begins...
The eternal cycle always remains.
