Sun did not rise today and
East expectantly waits for the pink unborn day!
Dawn is somewhat dusky today and
the sulking stars are blinking bleakly!
While, red-eyed matte moon
yawns wearily, anxious to go home.
Sleepless numb night counts sheep again.
Yet, sun snores serenely in deep slumber -
dreaming of clear blue skies,
and fragrant morning hues.
So, sun did not rise today…
