My Poem On You

You were a princess and cynosure of his eyes,
He is a god and hero who does everything nice,
Your wishes he loved to fulfill as demands
His words you adoringly obeyed as commands.

You became a wife and brightened your husband's life,
You bowled him over with charm and won him over with warmth,
You have taken care of his needs to leave him with no needs,
You partake all his strife to give him a lovely life.

They were your in-laws and you reached them without flaws,
Your actions and affection broke their circumspection,
With care and innocence as your nature,
You comforted them of their future.

The two kids enchanted your life,
The sun and moon of day and night
Surely they are more than yourself to you,
Truly your love demands nothing from them in lieu.
