Clad in saffron stands the astounding prophet
Possessing august spirituality and refined thoughts,
Altering the Chicago Parliament of religion's fate
with his ineradicably effective speech slots.
His persona designates knowledge unbound,
Lectures imperative on the individuality of religion,
Delving deep into the truth earlier unfound
That each leads to God in remembrance or oblivion.
Excelling his juvenile days in music and studies,
He was a depository of wisdom and intellect.
Maintaining leadership among all his buddies,
He used to articulately state breathtaking dialect.
Atheist till he met Shree Ramakrishna and was changed,
And became his most noteworthy disciple in a while.
Thousands of deprived people's needs he had quenched
Bringing in each of their faces an everlasting smile.
Being India's first cultural ambassador to the West
He focused on the importance of Indian spirituality.
Spreading holiness across the world was his quest
Telling Religion and Science complement in actuality.
Intense were his ideas, profound was his vision,
He wanted to serve and help the destitute,
This led to the foundation of Ramakrishna Mission;
That's an organization, a natural spiritual institute.
The association conducted Vedanta propagation
Serving unconditionally the deprived multitude,
Enlightening every corner spreading education,
Throwing lights of acumen from every altitude.
Having temperament elegant and noble,
His notions proliferated in bulks and swirls.
He was the chief inspiration of Margaret Noble
Who dedicated her life educating Indian girls.
Creating a great stir in the globe far and wide,
He infused awakening of the soul in nations.
He is the very best virtuous orator and guide,
A legend for the forthcoming generations!

Comment Flame of tongue his words earned him the title!
One of kind his poems are to read for inspiration!
Awake, stop not till the goal is reached said he!
His mater's plan of Advaita philosophy is future
For all to follow if one religion is for whole world!
Vivekananda was his trusted general of war....!
His words still echo in intellectual minds sure!
