Success

You left me in the lurch
And perched on that tree
Of success, to see
How was I doing…

I shook that tree
Vigorously…
And made sure,
You toppled down
To see, how was I
Doing…

For if you succeed
In failing me,
I’ll make sure
You struggle with me.
