The sun spots appear
in every eleven years,
but have these ever corrupted
the face of the rising sun?
Never, an ineffable tenderness
ever surrounds the golden orb.
 

On your ocean surface, ever calm and serene,
I see likewise no signs of turbulence or anger,
instead, emerald ripples of love and peace
following each other advance and flood to my shore...
