Mockingbirds

mockingbird.jpg

With winter on its way,
Mockingbirds left yesterday
For their southern stay,
And won't return till May.
Without their mocking,
Trees aren't rocking;
There's a chill in the air,
And I'm well aware
I'll have to live somehow
For several months now
Without their singing,
The joy they were bringing.

Thank you so much for your appreciation.

Mockingbirds have left once again, and I miss their singing.
