Theme: Resurgence

Revival after Sandy*

Sandy wedged all
devastated many

Regardless
I am convinced
this agony shall pass

     Isn’t history replete
     with such events before?

Resilience will overtake
man will persevere
and rejuvenate as survivor –
The phoenix
will rise from the ashes
Resurrection
will take place again

* The hurricane storm Sandy that devastated the east coast October 29, 2012

Comment Beware, there is going to be revival
Storm is to be followed another storm

Your poetry is beautiful, beauty is always truth
Agony is not always there, it passes away (Geeta)
What you and I can do? Storm and agony will pass too.

Look for the future, think for future
Hope for best and pray God

Comment Best message so far.
Poem as a medium of hope and re-assurance---like the earthen lamp guiding in the gloomy wilderness, a strayed traveller.
Inspiring, Rajenderji!

Comment Life goes on in spite of the ravages of nature and carnages of men. Life is like phoenix which rises out of the destruction...life is long , Sandy is short lived. It is tiny man who can cry loudly the shouts of challenges of the vast antagonistic nature
