The kiss goodbye
The kiss good morning
The kiss good night
 
The kiss "I'm sorry"
The kiss "you're right"
The kiss at the end
Of that silly fight.
 
The kiss "I love you"
The kiss just because
The kiss that I missed
And never was.
 
The kiss in the sunlight
The kiss in the shade
The kiss from which
Our love was made.
 
The kiss that lingered
On tender skin
The kiss that ended
In a knowing grin.
 
The kiss on our wedding day
The kiss that said "you're mine always"
The last kiss placed on your lifeless cheek
On that cold, cold Friday.
