Quo Vadis?

Didn’t Peter ask Jesus, “Quo Vadis?”
We all know the response.
Nirbhaya went Jesus's way,
How many will follow Peter’s path?

Castrations, capital punishment,
Chopping limbs, clipping fingers
Change not a rogue, dear!

Teach your child self-defense,
Use of nails fails not in need;
A pencil or a pen too suffices…
Instill confidence abundantly, mate!

Let your son first respect his
Sister and mother,
Charity begins at home
Not on platforms and fora, friend!

Quality matters, not numbers anytime,
Let leaders realize it soon, lest
Public fury swamps as always…
Nirbhaya is not alone now!

"Quo Vadis?" shines with true colours.It is an interesting poem with drop of satire on public leaders.I appreciate the poet's engagement with social/political aspects happening everyday.Cheers!
