Remember Loved Ones

Neither any reasoning
Nor any excuses
Could heal the hurt
When I forgot to greet my daughter
On her last birthday.
Besides our physical presence
A phone call, SMS or card
A gift or bouquet of flowers
On auspicious occasions of loved ones
Brings synergy of minds and hearts.
Remembrance preserves our past
Leads to celebration of the present
Carries bonhomie into the future
Beyond the distinctions and divides
To ensure bliss and tranquility for all. |
