Jewels of Joy1.jpg
  Nature’s joyful tears,
descend like blessings from above,
in form of zillion droplets
of liquid jewels,
dripping from
basketful of black clouds ...

Strings of watery pearls
scatter through
the shimmering shroud of nature
pounding on the parched skin of soil,
as muddy whiff wafts from the
wet womb of the earth ...

As showers of silver streaks
splash my fatigued face
I quench my throbbing thirst,
quivering in the falling rain!
‘Elixir of life’ seeps
through my lips,
my sultry soul staggers
in rain-drenched
intoxication ...
