A Leaf's Grief

I too would finally fall off the tree
Buried, I would lie deep in debris
After a clean and green life for sure
Useful I'd be, thereafter as manure

Oh! Humans, what are you up to
Do you have even the least clue?
After you fall, leave a dirty stain
When alive, lead a life so mean

Comment A nice poem and a message conveyed subtly.
