Theme: Creation

When He was Moulding You…

When He was moulding you,
how did He read my mind
to choose the shape
your eyes should take –
to resemble a little fish,
or the ones the deer has
or the arch the diving dolphins make?

And what gait you should have
to surpass the baby elephant’s walk
or put to shame all the lovely swans?

Just not that,
besides the enchanting eyes,
rhythmic walk
and lovely fingers to create dancing ‘mudras’,
He riveted to your ribs a kind heart!

In a vast creation like this
how does the architect look into such details
to make every aspect so beautiful?
And why can’t I then
plant a row of roses on your lips,
give a fresh coat of love from top to toe on you
to make you a fairy, an angel
and a divine love bird in my little heaven!
