Surreal Mourning

Lost
in endless horizons
of phantasmagoric
images,
want to find you.

On fragile threads
I walk alone
trying to keep
my balance,
as I try to reach
among shadows,
your essence.

Longing
for the echoes
of your voice,
now lost in waves
of time and space.

Avoiding devastation
I hide inside
my pain,
giving in
without resistance.

Avoiding to grasp
all concepts
of reality,
I hold to the vision
of your smile
my beloved son,
as tears
well up.
