Tagore was a man of deep wisdom, you chose a very inspiring and brilliant quote. Phenomenal. Thank you so much .

Comment Your lines answer many tragedies that are occurring on daily basis. I think it was Schopenhauer who said "An empty mind is fuga vacuui (Vaccum suction) and therefore it absorbs the first thought as the best and seldom question it. Doubt everything and that way, we don't fall into traps of religion and other isms.

P{erhas you might have haerd of these lines of Tagore (famous Spanish poet Juan Jimnez has translated Tagore)

Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high

Where knowledge is free

Where the world has not been broken up into fragments

By narrow domestic walls

Where words come out from the depth of truth

Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection

Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way

Into the dreary desert sand of dead habit

Where the mind is led forward by thee

Into ever-widening thought and action

Into that heaven of freedom, my Father, let my country awake.

- Rabindranath Tagore
