It soothes my soul when in the idle noons
I sit in the lobby harking to the wind's blow.
Gathering the hot kiss of the sun beams
It strokes my hair, wilted petals drop
Calming my troubles to a surrendering slumber.
The fragrance of the wild flora's bloom
Takes me far away from life's disdain.
I wander along with the whispering breeze
Through the trails of soft, white clouds
With my nimble wings like a dove,
Or maybe with the butterfly I would soar
Floating in the rich blue sky above
Sometimes bending down to sniff the budding rose.
The busy bees drone a saga as they pass by
I breathe in the warm air deeply.
Images of the past and loneliness, are what I am.
I am left lost within my self in search
Where memories visit like the drifting clouds
Far away, sailing lazily amongst the crowd.
