Flaunting

In the tinsel town’s glitter and glare
She had arrived to become a star
And flaunted her body and curves
So often in bikini and skimpy dresses.

She declared her intent umpteen times
On demand of the story at any time
She had no reservation or took amiss
Shedding her clothes or giving a kiss.

Instead of focusing on hard work and talent
When for success one looks for a shortcut -
After years of misadventure and struggle
She now works as an extra and body double.
