Kiss

  The travelling fog
Comes and kisses
The old man out for
A slow morning walk,
Startling him completely
By the cold breath;
Like that hurried peck
Given years ago,
By a forgetful son
Before he departed forever for
The seductive United States,
And,
Never came back.

Comment An excellently penned and moving poem that states a harsh fact in a gentle way!
