Points to Ponder and a Prayer...

I can never look good,
By painting someone bad.
I can never feel good,
By making someone sad.

I may have troubles,
But others have too,
Mine may be in singles,
And theirs in doubles!

I may be quite good in many ways,
But let me acknowledge with grace,
That while I am quite good – MAY BE,
There ARE many others better than me.

I may grandly see myself as a know-all,
But he who gives me a hand when I fall,
He who heeds my cry, even a feeble call,
Is the one who is standing before me tall.

Oh God, please keep me grounded.
By doubts let me never be hounded.
Let me love, let me care, let me share,
To hurt anyone, let me never ever dare.
