Howzzat...?

Her grey hair, she always believed,
Would protect and keep her relieved,
From unnecessary, undue attention,
And keep her bound to convention.

One fine, sunny day,
To her utter dismay,
This young man came along,
Acting smart, firm and strong,
All set to cross the limit,
Of her traditional ambit.

“You have a lovely smile!,” he said
My God, your looks are drop-dead”

She went by the rules she had set,
And therefore, did not let him get,
Carried away by his misadventure,
And spared them both the torture.

She warded off his overtures,
By gifting him her dentures!

I am able to read the poet's intention.Moral degradation seems to be so pervasive. What I like most is the manner in which a twist is given at the end.Regards.
