  I have travelled long
I have travelled far
Spending a lot
I have been to many lands
To see mountains and seas
But opening my eyes
I could never see
Only a few steps away from my home
One drop of dew on a single cornstalk.

Translation of poem 164 from the collection Sphulinga by Rabindranath Tagore.
