In the cozy comfort of my life
Set far away from conflict-hit areas
My life so serene soaked in happy moments
I watch the scary suffering of people
What a destiny!

Carefully with a walker
The incapacitated woman took each step
To cross rubble amidst sandy sunny storms
Dust to sting
What a destiny!

In the cozy comfort of my life
I wish I can muster courage to help
Distances, differences and diffidence
I bow my head and sigh
What a destiny!
