The Four Truths

The first truth is
There is sorrow;
It's here today,
Perhaps not tomorrow.

The second truth is
Sorrow has a cause;
It's our ignorance
Of various laws.

The third truth is
Sorrow has a cure;
Wisdom is the remedy,
Profound and pure.

The fourth truth is
There is bliss;
It's for us to attain,
So remember this.
