Best Friend

When no one is by my side, only you are near,
You make me strong; you take away my fear,
You bring me smiles, you make me glad,
You wipe away my tears whenever I am sad!

When I feel lonely, you shower your love like rain,
Making me feel blessed, wanted and loved again,
When I am confused, you show me the right way,
You heal me with your unbound care every day!

When darkness engulfs me, you give me light,
You are my sunshine making my days bright,
You love me loads, you take away my sorrows,
Filling me with hopes of happier tomorrows!

When the world is against me, only you still support me,
With you I am my own self, so comfortable, so carefree,
Can’t say how blessed I am to have you as my best friend,
I’ll love you truly, madly, deeply, forever, till my life’s end!
