What A Beautiful Day!

What a beautiful day You are bestowing With autumn on display, And a blue sky glowing! It's so enthralling, A new day's birth, With sunshine falling, Caressing a cold earth. Sunlight is pouring On a pond so cold, And mist is soaring, Carrying silver and gold. I make the time To savor the scene: It's so sublime, With trees so green. Birds are tweeting Far and near; Their joyous greeting I get to hear.
